Our Vision

The Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter aspires to a society in which pets are accorded the right to life and are recognized as beings with feelings that have the right to loving care.

The Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter works towards this end by:

-Alleviating the suffering of animals by providing interim shelter
food and medical care

-Educating the public at every opportunity regarding the health-care of pets, and owners’ responsibilities concerning spaying and neutering

-Participating in spaying and neutering programs through coordination and liaisons with veterinary hospitals

Shelter Hours:
Monday to Friday -- 11am - 7pm
Saturday -- 11am - 6pm
Sunday and Holidays -- closed
