PMAR is a non-profit organization located in Memphis, TN. We will match former shelter animals or owner surrenders with potential adopters in the northern states that are looking for a rescue dog (or cat!) to be that perfect addition to their family.

To reduce the number of animals surrendered to shelters by intervening with owner surrenders where possible, rescue animals from these shelters when foster homes are available to accommodate, and help fund vaccine programs and spay/neuter education in rural and impoverished areas.

Perfect Match Animal Rescue was founded by an animal lover from the local area who found joy and happiness in every “Perfect Match” she created while volunteering for other rescues. Pets were, are, and always will be a huge part of our lives. These animals need a chance to show how much value they can add to a person’s life. Their absolute loyalty and love truly impacts our lives everyday. Perfect Match Animal Rescue believes that once a person finds that “Perfect Match” with an animal, the chemistry created makes both the person and the animal more complete. A lifelong bond is created. Everyone who is a part of Perfect Match Animal Rescue will work together for the dogs. There is nothing more fulfilling than when you see another dog ready and eager to start a new chapter of its life with a loving and caring person!
