All of our animals are desexed, microchipped and have their first vaccination before adoption.

**Please do not waste our time or yours asking us to not desex an animal that you would like to adopt because you want them to have just one litter, we DO NOT agree with 'just one litter' because we see the outcome of 'just one litter'

We have a foster care agreement you will need to read over and sign.

Foster Care Agreement

Please read the following document and sign if you agree to the terms. Foster carer must retain a copy for their information and a copy must be kept on file with Adoptable Admin.

By signing this document you agree to the following:
You must notify your case manager if;
The dog/cat goes missing.
Becomes sick or injured.
Has stitches that need removing or isn’t up to date with vaccinations and flea and worm treatment.
dog/cat needs to be removed from your care (please give as much warning as possible)
If you are struggling financially to feed your dog/cat (we do receive donations but they are not always consistent)
Advise case manager of any behavioural issues
Advise case manager of personality of your foster
If someone is interested in adopting your foster - this is very important as they may already have someone interested and if they are unaware of another interested party it can become embarrassing

I as the foster carer;
Am not the legal owner of the foster animal and will release the dog/cat back to adoptable upon request
Will notify Adoptable if I would like to adopt the animal in my care and I understand that an adoption fee will apply.
Am responsible for the foster animals actions and the safety of others.
Will treat the animal as I would treat my own pet and will provide appropriate bedding, food, water and shade. (Adoptable will provide food, toys and bedding if donations are received, otherwise these are to be provided by the foster carer)

If medical treatment is required, please contact your case manager and the fees will be paid for by Adoptable unless in the case that they have been injured as a result of neglect or abuse, in which case the fees will be paid by the foster carer.

You may post (appropriate) photos on social media to help find a forever home. We ask that you tag us in your post on both facebook and instagram (@adoptable) and if you receive any enquiries to adopt the animal you must pass onto your case manager or an adoptable representative to go through the correct Adoptable processes.

If you would like to become a case manager which means that you won't physically have the animals at your home but you would like to manage their care and adoption please contact us.
The following case manager agreement will need to be read and signed.

Case Manager Guidelines

Please read the following document and sign if you agree to the terms. Case Manager must retain a copy for their information and a copy must be kept on file with Adoptable Admin.

It is your responsibility to make sure that the dog/cat has an appropriate foster carer.
You are required to keep the cat/dog’s vet work up to date such as vaccinations, flea and worm treatments
Ensure that you contact either Ashleigh or Lynley to book cat/dog into the Stawell Veterinary Clinic for microchip, desexing and vaccination and organise someone to take it to the vet and pick it up
Drop off to the vets for surgery is between 8:30am & 9am
Pick up from the vets is between 4:30pm & 5:30pm
No food and water before surgery beginning at 10pm the night prior to appt.
You are required to assess potential adopters by completing a property check
A Property check can be done by a nominated person - but not the adopter. Property check documents need to be filled in, scanned and emailed to adoptable@outlook.com
When a property check has been completed and the adoption is going ahead, the adoption agreement document and microchip paperwork must be filled out, scanned and emailed to adoptable@outlook.com
If you have someone who is willing to foster you must complete a property check. Once the property check is completed and approved then the Foster Care agreement needs to be filled in, scanned and emailed to adoptable@outlook.com
Ensure that the foster dog/cat is registered with the council
