Pied Piper believes in helping not hurting. We place no blame or shame on the owner who needs to surrender their loving fur family friend. We work hard to place the pocket pet into a home that fits both the pet and the family. Our mission is that all pets place can feel stable and secure with their loving new family.

Pied Piper Pocket Pet Rescue was founded in October of 2016. By Late Winter we branched off and have a second Pied Piper down in Southern Maine. We started taking in rats and by January we saw there was a need to take in pocket pets. Shelters and Pet Stores were no longer taking in surrenders of these small pets. To prevent people from letting these domesticated family pets go free in the wild we created Pied Piper. Since then we have had foster parents volunteer their time and home as well as their own money to care for their foster rescues. We have had some wonderful donations and great supporters. In the less than a year we have adopted out more than 200+ critters to their forever home. We have had a variety of mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters, degus, guinea pigs, bunnies, and ferrets. Because of our supporters and the social networks we have been able to keep Pied Piper going. Thank you
