Aslan the Rescue Dog
Aslan, a German Shepherd cross was found on the side of the road in Dec 2016. He was abandoned, alone with a dislocated right back leg. He is now loved
The RSPCA rescue team swung into action for this beautiful boy and operated to relieve his pain. Despite a huge Facebook appeal his owners remain a mystery. He spent a month at the Lonsdale shelter before moving into a breed-experienced foster home.
His foster parents took less than 1 day to fall in love with this sweet, sweet boy. After 10 weeks of in-home care (14 weeks after he was first found) he became well enough to formalise his adoption.
This page is a celebration of his journey from broken, sick puppy dog to fun-loving, cheeky and stubborn pampered pooch. It is also a celebration of the work the SA RSPCA do to alleviate the suffering of animals and find loving homes for sick, lost and abused animals.
