Here are some helpful tips on bringing a new chow chow into your home:



If you are interested in volunteering there are many ways to help:
-Donate: As a non profit we survive solely on donations from the public.
-Foster: Foster homes help us to take animals that are in the shelter or surrendered and get them adapted to a new home lifestyle. It allows us to learn and observe the animals behaviors and character so that we can better place the animal with an adoptive home. Fostering is very important and without foster homes we would not be able to save animals.
-Adopt: All animals should have a loving home of their own!
-Home checks: home checks are needed for all of our foster and adoptive homes. If one comes up in your area we would love to have you volunteer.
-Transport: Drivers are always needed to help our animals get from point A to point B. Whether to a new home or to vet appointments and or therapies.
-Sponsor: Sponsoring and animal covers the vet cost and boarding if needed. This is a huge help for cash strapped rescues.
-Networt and Share! Please help us to share all of the animals in need!

Our rescue may be out of NY but we have volunteers all over the country as well as foster homes and adopters.
