Our mission is to Spay/Neuter every Cat/Dog possible to prevent so many unwanted pets! The more unwanted pets means more euthanasia! We are NOT for euthanasia at all! In the last 5 years our euthanasia rate has went from a very high 98% to a a very low 6.8%

We have been awarded Animal Shelter of the year 2011 out of the entire state of Kentucky!!!Our goal is to save as many lives as possible! We have routine Rescue/Transports to relocate animals to other states where they can have the proper medical treatment necessary and be placed in a forever home! We currently offer a low cost spay/neuter assistance program in Harlan County KY! spay/neuter spay/neuter spay/neuter PREVENT A LITTER FIX YOUR CRITTER!!!! WE DO NOT EUTHANIZE JUST FOR FUN, IF WE DO IT, WE HAVE A GOOD REASON FOR IT! OUR EUTHANASIA RATE HAS WENT FROM A HIGH 98% TO A LOW 6.8% IN THE LAST 5 YEARS! We can always use volunteers at the shelter on Saturday's and Sunday's and for rescue/transport days! Please let us know if interested!
