Happy thanksgiving from the whole team at Live Love Animal Rescue!

And not just from the humans… but each and every dog in our care says a huge thank you, for all the incredible foster folks we have working with us. We can’t tell you how grateful we are for such a wonderful, dedicated and selfless team of foster parents. Our dogs are in warm beds instead of behind shelter bars because of YOU. We know sometimes it’s challenging and we know you would do anything for our dogs. We and the dogs value, love and are thankful for you guys every single day! 💕🐾🐶

Also to anyone who has ever donated a dollar, shared a story, or a simply liked a photo. We love and appreciate the support, and we couldn’t do what we do without our amazing dog loving community! 💜

Our lovely senior Fawn is spending a little time with our amazing friends and trainers over at @humblek9 🐾

Fawn can be a little uncomfortable around other dogs sometimes, and the humble k9 team are going to take some time to work with her, understand her behavior and see what really makes Fawn tick. She’s a wonderful dog and we know she will be in very good hands!

Hello Jax here! 👋
So this was me at the dog beach today! I had a great time, meeting dogs and people, sniffing and running around… I truly have the BEST life. But my life wasn’t always this way.

Scroll through the pictures to see me around September 2020. I was at the shelter then, in a very very bad way, underweight, raw patches and sore enflamed paws, terribly infected ears, I was even peeing blood… I was on the list for euthanasia.

Live Love Animal Rescue helped me in the nick of time, and have been looking after me ever since. I’m in an amazing foster home and I’m very well loved, but… I will most likely need medical treatment for the rest of my life.

After months of medical care, tests, blood work, medications, and further diagnostics, it was determined that the blood in my urine was a result of an inflamed prostate- as a matter of fact, they said my whole body was inflamed, as was evident in his skin as well. I was on medications for MRSP, a methicillin-resistant skin condition, as well fungal and bacterial infections for months.
The humans told me these medicines are very expensive, so I know I’m a very lucky boy to have people taking care of me.

Today I am raising funds to help pay for my ongoing monthly medical costs. I know times are tough and I hate to ask, but if you can skip a coffee and throw a few bucks my way, boy I’d really appreciate it. And it means Live Love can try to help more dogs like me.

Good morning! Jax here! So I did a sneaky thing and stole the humans phone so I can take over Instagram today 🥳

People tell me I’m a bit of a rescue favorite, I’ll try not to let the adoration go to my head but yknow… it’s true I am kinda something special! 🥰

Today I am also doing a fundraiser to help with my ongoing skin issues, mainly my paws and my ears still bothering me now, but I’m so much better than I was!

Anabella is a beautiful, intelligent and loving young lab pittie mix looking for her new home ❤️

She is a mellow girl around the house, likes to take a lot of naps and is very well behaved. She's gentle and affectionate, she really loves to love on you and have snuggles, and she just enjoys being with her people. She is crate trained and happy to chill in there when you need to go out.

Anabella is a clever girl and knows many tricks. She knows how to sit, shake, lay down, leave it, up (jump), go to place, go find - she loves to try and find hidden treats! 🦴

Anabella used to be anxious around other dogs but she has amazing foster parents who have been working with her and she has come a long long way. She listens when you tell her not to worry about the other dog and is easily re-directed. She’s really impressed us!

Juda is a loving, affectionate and goofy girl, who has recently had extensive training to make the most of that smart brain of hers! 🧠

Wilson is a friendly, affectionate, happy go lucky guy looking to find his new home. He is house trained, walks nicely on the leash and loves to accompany you for a car ride. A curious, gentle, and kinda goofy guy, Wilson just loves hanging out with you and being part of the family.

He loves to play with toys, especially plush stuffies, and enjoys a game of fetch. He's playful and silly, but he is also quite low energy and quiet around the house.

Wilson, like a lot of dogs, LOVES food and treats. He is a smart guy and you can see his little mind always working, trying to figure out what you want him to do. We're sure with patience and treats, you could work with Wilson to help make him an even better version of himself.

Wilson has what his foster mom calls his "happy feet" - he does an adorable little dance whenever she comes home, or gives him a treat. His foster mom tells us he is genuinely a happy dog that has so much life and love in him. Anyone would be lucky to have this guy be a part of their home. He wants affection, he wants love, and he wants to be a part of someone's life.
