This Foundation was formed due to Don Cherry’s vision of wanting to do more for those that have dedicated their lives to make Canada a more humane place for animals.

This Foundation is to receive and maintain funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income to non-profit organizations and qualified donees under the Income Tax Act (Canada) that provides animal welfare services including shelter, adoption, care, or provide educational awareness about animal welfare.
