Make a difference in somebunny's life - adopt a rescued rabbit!

MHRR is a group of volunteers and foster homes in and around the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. We take in rabbits from other shelters or animal control agencies, strays, dumps at pet stores or vet clinics, or individuals/families who can no longer care for their pets. We also visit classrooms and scout meetings to teach little ones about rabbit care. MHRR enjoys bringing our adoptable rabbits to the LSU Vet School Open House, BREC Bluebonnet Swamp, Pet Fest, Bow-Wow-Ween, and other local events. We strive to be of service to our community by offering boarding, nail trims, and answering husbandry and behavior questions to all rabbit owners.

Since 2004, we have saved and re-homed over 700 rabbits and small animals! We are a 501(c)3 organization and donations are tax deductible.
