ALB Animal Shelter is the 1st private animal shelter in Bangladesh for stray animals.

Animal Lovers of Bangladesh is determine to work for stray animals in Bangladesh. We are aimed to built a volunteer chain in Bangladesh with people who are concern about nature and animals, Rescue and Foster sick stray animals, Shelter nature abandon animals and Give Away** cured & healthy animals. Also ALB Wills to educate pet owners about urgent veterinary help,vaccinations and sterilizations.

Give Away(animals)** in ALB terms of being able to have pets.

ALB believes that respect for animals’ rights will help lift people out of illiteracy and injustice, allow them to assert their dignity and guarantee sustainable development in society as well.

Currently, there are not much Animal Shelter in Bangladesh to aid animals in problem. Street animals are being abused daily by general people. Stray dogs and cats are beaten, killed, poisoned and kicked for fun. People cut their tail, throw hot water & stone at them. Animal abuse relates to children mostly and their minds get affected psychologically by this.
Street animal abuse is increasing day by day and it needs more attention and help from people. In other developed countries there are several Animal shelters to help animals of street. Bangladesh govt. also needs to take same step and give permission to open this shelter. Bangladesh Govt. has already taken a commendable step in protecting wild animals of forest by having a strong law against poachers and hunters. Animals don't deserve to be treated like this as it is a question of humanity. This Animal shelter will help to protect and help our street animals.

Shelter objectives:

1. Abused stray animals will be taken to shelter and be given proper treatment by certified vets. Shelter will keep injured animals until they get well, then the animal may given up for adoption or may returned to their previous place, especially for grown animals.

2. This Shelter will create volunteer groups who will educate people (especially children) place to place about animal rights and animal welfare and also rescue them from trouble if anyone informs.

Important : Research shows that those children that abuse animals will become anti-social and harmful for human too while grown up. So this education will help to educate children about peace, keeping harmony in society as well as between human and animals.

3. Certified vets from the Shelter will give free treatment, vaccine and sterilization to stray animals.
