PPR Org is an all volunteer rescue. We rescue dogs & puppies from high kill shelters in the South and bring them to Maine to find loving permanent homes.

Saving one dog won't change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will changed forever.

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit, fully insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
