The Montville Office of Animal Control investigates complaints and concerns about roaming and nuisance dogs, dog and cat bites, cruelty and neglect cases, injured animals and situations involving possible rabid animal exposure of humans or domestic animals. Verbal or written warnings, infractions or misdemeanor summons may be issued pursuant to Chapter 435 of the Connecticut General Statutes. Montville Animal Control is committed to finding homes for abandoned and unwanted dogs or any rehabilitated and unwanted cats and is affiliated with Petfinder.com, an site that increases public awareness of the availability of adoptable pets.

Montville Animal Control has one full-time Animal Control Officer and 2 part time Animal Control Officers here to assist you in your animal concerns and questions 7 days a week.
