Our dogs come from shelters in Arkansas, many of them high-kill or without adequate medical care for the dogs. With just a few weeks in foster care, this pup's life was changed from emaciated and sick to happy and healthy. Just look at those ears, they alone tell a story!

Our fosters in Arkansas and Massachusetts give of their time, homes and talent to save these dogs, but as an all-volunteer organization, we rely on financial support from supporters like you to save even more lives from sickness, breed discrimination, euthanasia and abuse.

Bogey is a Last Hope hospice foster who greatly benefitted from the generosity and support of our community. He was born with a congenital heart defect and here at Last Hope K9 Rescue we do everything we can to get our pups as healthy as possible. Unfortunately, the surgery didn’t completely resolve Bogey’s condition but we are always willing to try no matter the cost.
We can only continue to give these amazing dogs the procedures and care they need with your help and support! Every dollar makes a difference and helps along their journeys to finding their forever homes.

Meet Tess! Tess is a beautiful, high energy and super smart 1 year old pup looking for an active family. Tess enjoys running and playing with other dogs as well as hanging out with her family. She is crate and house trained. While she is great with kids, she is better with older kids given her size. She will need a strong handler as she is still learning her manners.

Finn is a 8 year old pit mix looking for a #Foreverhome. Finn's ideal home would be a quiet home where he can chill at home most of the time and cuddles with his human. He also enjoys going on long walks with his human and going on car rides. Finn knows some commands and likes to sit or gives paw for treats. He likes to play toys by himself. He goes to play groups with dogs his size (he's 75lbs) but prefers to be an only dog at home. He has resource guarding issues with dogs (good with human), so he should be fed separately. He does well with dogs after slow and proper introduction. He has some prey drive so he is not cat friendly. Given his size, he is good with older kids over 16. Finn is fully house trained. He does well at home by himself without a crate he just sleeps when he is home alone, but he is also fine in a crate. He whines at first and then settles in the crate.

Bobby is a 2 year old pup looking for a #fureverhome. He enjoys car rides, long walks/hiking with his human and playing with other dogs. He loves spending time with his people. He has met an outdoor cat with no issues, although dog-savvy cats would probably be best. He has been good with children, but would probably do best with older kids based on his energy level. Bobby willingly crates himself for treats and food. He is also house trained.
