We are a brand new 501 c3 dog rescue. If it barks & we can help, we will! We are 100 % foster based, so all our dogs are in a loving home while they await their forever home. We are located in Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas.

Long Trails to Happy Tails Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing unwanted and neglected canines. While helping dogs find their perfect forever home, we hope to educate the community by promoting humane and compassionate treatment to dogs of all breeds and sizes throughout the Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. We strive to be of service to all dogs; however our focus on large breed dogs will primarily consist of pit bulls and other bully breeds.

We want to see a change in our community and believe in doing so not only by rescuing dogs in need, but promoting spay/neuter programs, implementing a Junior Volunteer program and responsibly connecting dogs who truly deserve a second chance to our community in every way possible.
