This week’s #seniorsunday shout-out goes to 8 year old hound, Thelma!
Thelma is a low energy, super sweet girl who absolutely loves affection and attention! If you’re looking for a dog that wants to be by your side at all times and fo where you go, Thelma is the girl for you! She is a very good girl, but she does have some separation anxiety and will dig and/or jump fences, so she would do best in a home that has someone there with her most of the day or someone who can take her on walks/to the park so she doesn’t feel inclined to escape the yard during a potty break. She is housebroken, good with kids, and other dogs and she’d make a great pet for any family!
Come meet Thelma by submitting an adoption application at www.BDRR.org/adopt!

Hi! My name is Shira, and I am a 3 year old German Shepherd! I am a super sweet, laid back girl who loves to sing when I'm happy! I am not to big on playing with other dogs but I do like having friends around just to have some company. I am great on my leash and love to go for walks! I am a sweet, loving, calm girl who would do well in a family home or in a home with older owners- I am not picky! Unfortunately when I arrived at the ranch I did test positive for heartworm, but the nice vet team here have been helping me get better and they pay for all related medical expenses until I am heartworm free!
I would love to spend the holidays in a home of my own this year… Help me go home for the holidays but submitting an application at www.BDRR.org/adopt!

“Ooh yeah that’s the spot”
Hi there, my name is Darth! I am a 2 year old hound. I was found in South Carolina living outside with 7 other dogs in a small kennel.
I am shy but friendly guy and I think I could make an excellent family pet in a home with slightly older children. I like to hang out with other dogs, but sometimes can be selective about who I call my friend. I do seem to have a strong prey drive and wouldn't be a good fit for a home with cats or other small animals, but I certainly wouldn’t mind another dog sibling!
I'd love to find an experienced dog owner who can help me learn to harness my confidence. I'd prefer a quieter lifestyle if possible, but that doesn't mean I don't want to meet new people. I could most certainly benefit from further training, particularly because I am not 100% potty-trained yet. Unfortunately, I did arrive at the ranch with testing positive for Heartworm, but lucky for me, the veterinarians here have been taking excellent care of me and BDRR covers all related expenses!
This Christmas will be the first one where I get to be in a safe, warm environment, and I’d love to spend it with you at your home! Apply to adopt at www.BDRR.org/adopt!

3 year old Morticia the lab is looking for a quiet, laid back home to call her own… Will you give her a home for the holidays?
Morticia is a very sweet, but shy girl who has so much love to give. Her foster parents say that she’s skiddish and timid when you first meet her, but she’s very quick to open up - especially when treats are involved! She is cat friendly, mainly because she is scared of them and avoids them at all costs 😉 We think she would make a great family pet in a home with older children.
Give Morticia a home for the holidays by submitting an application at www.BDRR.org/adopt!

Hi! My name is Queva, a 3yr old hound mix. I am pretty shy at first but don't let that fool you... I love people and enjoy getting and giving tons of love! I am dog friendly and I think it would be so cool to have another dog sibling in my new home. Even though I am shy around humans, I really like playing with other dogs so trips to the dog park or play dates with doggie friends would be awesome!
I like to play ball, I am good on a leash, and with a little training and time I bet I could learn all kinds of neat tricks! An active owner would be ideal and a family with older kids could be really fun! I am such a sweet girl with so much love to give, I promise if you have a little patience while I learn that my humans are kind you will have a faithful, fun, social companion at home and to take on adventures of all sorts!
Meet me when you submit an application at www.bdrr.org/adopt!

Hey there! My name is Abel! I am an extremely sweet boy who just wants all of your love. I am an excellent boy who LOVES to run outside and go for swims whenever I get the chance. I am a big runner and would be so happy if I could find a family with lots of land for me to run around on, like a farm or a big fenced in yard!
I appear to be mostly potty-trained already. I love people so much that I tend jump up on their chest so I can try to kiss their faces. Unfortunately, I don't think I would do well in a home with kids because of my big personality and energy level, but I get along well with most female dogs and am selective with male dogs.
I would absolutely LOVE to go home with a new family and experienced my very first Christmas! Submit an application at www.bdrr.org/adopt!

Instagram VS Reality with Heidi🐶
2 year old Heidi is a silly and playful girl from Georgia. She is a little shy at first, but as soon as she gets to know you she wants ALL of your attention and affection! Heidi is looking for a home with older kids or no kids and not cats or small animals. She is a moderate to high energy girl, so she would love a home with a yard or lots of visits to the dog park each week!
Come meet Heidi by submitting an adoption application at www.BDRR.org/adopt!

Pickles is looking for a quiet, laid-back home to call her own... Will you help give Pickles a home for the holidays?
Pickles is a mild-mannered, incredibly sweet girl who was rescued from a bad hoarding situation along with her siblings. Because of the situation she was raised in, she is very shy and timid and is missing a lot of her hair. We are confident that the right loving home is just what Pickles needs to learn how to trust people again and become her healthiest self!
Pickles absolutely LOVES snuggling up in blankets and we think she is going to become the biggest cuddle bug as soon as she gets used to her new home. She would do best in a quieter home where she can relax and unwind and learn to trust again.
Will you give Pickles a second chance at the best life ever? Fill out an adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt.
