Society for Advocacy, Ethics & Humanity in Practice

Society for Advocacy, Ethics & Humanity in Practice

A non-for-profit group that believes virtuous, honest, and ethical considerations ought to be at the forefront of all decision-making.

—To advance public awareness in controversial ethical issues surrounding medical practice, legal practice, and corporate practice.

—To foster and ensure that virtuous human values are considered in political and non-political decision-making; we petition appropriate bodies regarding specific issues; and we raise awareness of unethical or inhumane practices that are neglected by mainstream media.

—To reject harsh utilitarian principles being practiced throughout different societal realms.

"Society for Advocacy, Ethics & Humanity in Practice" is a non-for-profit advocacy groups that speaks out against utilitarian principles being practices in medicine, law/policy-making, or corporate practices. We reject these principles -- which state that "happiness must be maximized," or, famously, "the greatest good for the greatest number" -- because: 1. such principles egregiously disregard inherent dignity of fellow beings in the minority, who may suffer at the behest of a majority; and 2. such principles reject the inherent dignity in other forms of life -- the other innocent creatures with whom we share our home.

We cover broad scope of ethical issues, from medical to legal practice.
