Unchained Melodies Inc. is a public not-for-profit org. EIN-47-5487625 We are an ALL volunteer organization with NO paid staff or administrators.
To bring dogs into the home and family from a chained or penned existence.
Three aspects of societal needs are addressed to accomplish this mission: Education, Legislation, and Rescue and Rehabilitation.
Through Education, we elevate individual standards for animal treatment through direct one-on-one and group contact.
Through Legislation, we work towards passage of more humane laws to protect dogs from living at the end of a chain for life or enclosed in a small space with little to no human contact.
Through Rescue and Rehabilitation we create better lives for individual dogs by fencing yards, helping with house training and fostering, spay / neuter and finding the dog a new inside home and family.

Lexi is dreaming of a forever family! Lexi is a super sweet pup who loves her people and stuffie toys! She is 4 years old, 50 pounds and an energetic wigglebutt. She does need to be an only pet in the home, so no cat or dog sibs.
Lexi has been with us 600 days but hasn’t given up on finding her people! She is still hopeful a loving home is out there for her somewhere. Help us find a forever home for Lexi so she can finally be home for the holidays 🥺❤️🐾

It’s Fall ya’ll and this beautiful girl loves to roll in the leaves and has the cutest little grumbles when she get her ears scratched.
Bella is a dream in the home, a perfect lady, she is quiet and content with a comfy dog bed or soft couch. She is a big girl with a huge ❤️. Bella prefers to remain a single lady and wants a home without other animals, she does not want to share the love.

Update on Penelope! She is learning to be a happy, healthy pup in her foster home. She likes to lay quietly rather than snuggle, but her foster mom says she is opening up bit by bit. She is doing great on potty training and with her doggo foster sibs. She is not up for adoption yet but will be when she’s ready! Stay tuned for more updates 🐾

Aspen is a 3 month old, 8 pound, small breed terrier mix. His mom is 23 pounds so we think he will stay pretty small too! Aspen is super playful with dogs large and small, loves his crate (will just go in there to hang out when he wants some me time) and is a big cuddler when you’re ready to chill on the couch for some snoozes or movie night. He is becoming a pro at telling his humans when he needs to go out to potty and sleeps through the night like an angel. Interested in adopting this sweet boy?

Bella loves snuggles, peanut butter, toys and kisses. She is such a sweet, cuddly girl! She needs a home where she is an only dog. She is crate, potty and leash trained.
