OUR vision is to encourage and support development for the humane teatment of animals, in turn encouraging compassion towards all life.

The Thompson Humane Society's actions are guided by the following mission statements:

1) To promote compassion and humane treatment for all animals through education, operational ethics and personal values

2) To focus (though not be limited) on companion and work animals in our area

3) To proceed from the perspective that no one has the right to cause mental or physical pain or suffering to any animal

4) To advocate the care and protection of all animals by working within the law and in cooperation with government and other humane societies

5) To promote a humane death when no other appropriate option is available
