We are a small 501-c(3) No-kill, Quality of Life Animal Shelter.
We strive to give our animals the best life we can until their forever home is found.


Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter operates as a "quality of life" shelter, and the devoted workers are committed to making sure that every animal in their care has exactly that.


In addition, all animals receive all necessary shots, wormings, and other medical treatments.

All would-be adoptive families are carefully screened before being allowed to take home any pet. In this way, each adopted animal is assured of a good and loving home.


ADOPTION FEES:
DOGS - $125 - Includes 2 Distemper Vaccinations, Rabies Vaccine, 2 Wormings, Flea Treatment (if needed), Spay/ Neuter, Microchip, Hw/Lyme test

CATS - $50 - Same as dogs. Also a Combination Leukemia/FIV Test and Ear Mite Treatment.

PUPPIES - $70 + $50 Mandatory Spay/Neuter Deposit - Includes 1 or 2 Distemper Vaccinations, Rabies Vaccine (if over 3 months), 1 or 2 Wormings, Flea Treatment (if needed).

KITTENS - $15 + $35 Mandatory Spay/Neuter Deposit - Includes 1 or 2 Distemper Vaccinations, Rabies Vaccine (if over 3 months), 1 or 2 Wormings, Flea Treatment (if needed), FELV Tested, Ear Mite Treatment.

The Spay/ Neuter Deposit when adopting a puppy or kitten is required by state law. It is refunded at the time the puppy or kitten is spayed/neutered.
