A Chance Animal Rescue is a private registered animal rescue dedicated to the rehabilitation and placement of dogs in loving homes.

A Chance Animal Rescue Inc. welcomes and greatly appreciates donations of cash, blankets, comforters, towels, leashes, collars, crates and toys which can be dropped off at the Merrickville LCBO.

A Chance Animal Rescue Inc. is an all-volunteer organization. Donations go directly to the care of our rescues.

Income tax receipts are issued for donations of cash and in-kind gifts. You can also donate through payroll deduction to the United Way Campaign by designating your donation to A Chance Animal Rescue Inc.

Our charity number with Revenue Canada is BN 87465-2704. Our Ontario Registration Number is 1575341.
Our dogs come to us from other shelters, rescues, sympathetic police services, as well as those abandoned by their owners. We do not refuse any breed or age of dog at A Chance Animal Rescue Inc.

In cases where dogs cannot learn to trust, they remain with us to live out their lives in peace.

We do not euthanize dogs except those with a fatal injury or terminal illness with no quality of life.

We work with a renowned behaviourist to ensure our dogs can be placed in new homes without cause for concern.
