Hoppy Hearts Rabbit Rescue is a Non-Profit, domestic rabbit rescue, that was founded February 2014. We serve London, Ontario and surrounding communities.

Our mission is to provide for the betterment of domestic rabbits in our community through public education, adoption and by promoting compassionate attitudes towards rabbit welfare.

Vision Statement:

We serve our community through educational and adoption events and are very active on a variety of social media outlets to further promote rabbit care and welfare.

We provide a safe placement for unwanted, abandoned and neglected rabbits through individual, foster homes. While in our care, they are socialized in a loving environment to develop a trusting relationship with their caretakers. All our rabbits are placed in suitable, permanent homes, following an in-depth adoption process which includes matching rabbit personalities with adopter's expectations and providing educational material to applicants about the responsibilities of bringing a rabbit into their lives. Rabbits in our care are spayed/neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment to ensure they are healthy prior to adoption.

When funds and space allow, we also provide sanctuary to elderly and infirm rabbits who will benefit from our experience and continued care.

Hoppy Hearts is highly reliant on the support of the community for donations and foster home care.

Our foster homes are the backbone of the rescue and help our organization run smoothly. It is our goal to provide them with best experience possible by allowing them to be as involved in the rescue as they are comfortable with. We also try to match each rabbit to the foster homes' abilities and experience to ensure a positive outcome for both.
