To develop and promote, through education and public awareness, humane treatment of animals in all situations.

To communicate with other Local Societies in areas such as humane education, programming, and all areas pertinent to humane practices in the case of animals coming into the possession of the Local Society.

To prevent cruelty to animals by offering to feed and shelter animals in need and by seeking the assistance of the appropriate police force in enforcing animal protection laws.

Policy on discussions & postings:
We reserve the right to delete posts containing the following:

- Profane or offensive language;
- Inappropriate, irrelevant information or misinformation;
- Bullying and personal attacks;
- Promoting violence or illegal activities;
- Supporting individuals or organizations which promote animal cruelty; or
- Spam or commercial sales.
