Windsor/Essex County Humane Society Veterinary Clinic

The WECHS Vet Clinic is a high-volume clinic focused on spaying/neutering pets. Please click "about" for more information and prices!

The WECHS Vet Clinic is focused on reducing the pet overpopulation crisis by offering affordable spay/neuter surgeries to the public.

The clinic is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. You must have an appointment, we do not accept walk-ins with the exception of feral cats in live traps.

To make an appointment, please call the clinic at 519-966-1118

The veterinarian reserves the right to decline surgery candidates should he feel the pet will be at too great a risk during surgery/anesthesia.

All pets are dropped off the morning of surgery at 8:00am. Because of the tight surgical schedule we must maintain, admissions will end at 8:30am so the veterinarian can begin examining patients. The clinic staff reserves the right to refuse late admissions. Please ensure your pet is on a leash or in a carrier. To avoid long wait-times in the morning, we ask that surgeries are paid for in advance if possible. You are to pick up your pet after surgery the same day between 4:00 and 5:00 pm

It is important that your pet not eat the night before/morning of surgery, please remove their food by midnight the night before surgery. Your pet can have unlimited access to water.

Please note that while we love hearing feedback about our services, the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (the governing organization for all vet clinics in Ontario) forbids veterinary clinics from posting client testimonials. If you find your comment has been deleted from this page, understand that we are only complying with the CVO.
