As the convener and representative of the largest animal welfare community in Canada, we advance the welfare of animals, with a strong national voice promoting the interests and concerns of animal welfare to government, policy makers, industry and the public.


The Canadian Federation of Humane Societies is the national voice of member humane societies and SPCAs, which serve animals in communities large and small, urban and rural, English and French, in every province across Canada. We bring together those who work with and care for animals to promote respect and humane treatment for all animals – in the home, on the farm, in the lab and in the wild.
