Oh sweet, sweet Dottie. She came to us pregnant and unsure about the world. She eventually had 10 puppies, but despite the best efforts of fantastic vets and their foster mama none of her puppies survived. And if that wasn’t hard enough, Dottie started crashing, too. We think we have figured it out with the help of great vets and are hopeful about her recovery. But as of yesterday, her vet bills were already over $4,000 and that doesn’t include her emergency visit last night. These are the dogs that many rescues can’t take because they cannot take on the medical bills. These are dogs we say yes to because we have amazing friends who donate and allow us to say yes. So we are asking today …. If you can help, we would appreciate it. And please keep Dottie and her foster family in your thoughts … she’s not out of the woods yet.
