Dundalk Dog Rescue is an entirely voluntary, non-profit making, service provided by a group of ordinary people in the community. Our daily purpose is to do whatever is possible to rescue unwanted dogs from dog pounds.

Whilst we do our very best for the dogs we cannot save them all. While destruction rates had improved over the past few years the expectation is that the trend is now going the wrong way again. We really need fosterers to help us take the dogs short term until they can go on to another rescue to be rehomed. This is never more needed than around Chirstmas time when the influx of dogs into pounds increases dramatically. If you can help by fostering a dog just for a short period any time of the year this would help us enormously and help another dogs life to be saved.
