Paws and People is a small non-funded and non-profit home run family animal rescue, we re-home & rehabilitate animals.

Our mission is rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abused, unwanted, strays animals who are in need the most. We are a NO KILL rescue, every dog has a home here for life should they need it. We taken alot of special dogs such as fear aggression, nervousness, deaf, blind, or injured. The rescue is only run by two volunteers, so therefore all vets are appointment only.

We have a closed door policy for the safety of the public and the animals in our care. We accept donations via postal order or by cheque made payable to Paws and people or paypal which is: pawsandpeopleni@gmail.com or bank transfers or amazon.

Our re-homing process for anyone interested in our animals is very simple. If you are interested in one of our animals you must first let us know, you will then need to fill in a online application so we can know a little more about you. If you are accepted you will then have a home check carried out, it is only after a successful home check that you may then be allowed one of our rescues. Before we can hand over any of our rescues a contract must first be signed. Once our animals are re-homed, we may then request a follow up home check to see how they are getting on. If the new home does not work out then we will take the animal back without any questions asked as the animals welfare is paramount. There is a set donation fee for rehoming one of our animals in order to help cover the vet fees. Before we re-home animals they will all receive a health check from are local vets and all vaccinations or other medical care which is needed will then be given to them. Thank you!
