Here's an update all the way from Washington state. Chewy aka Chewbacca has made a delightful leap from Mexican street dog to Washington state man on the town.
“Hello,
“Chewy” (Chewbacca) says hello! He has adjusted well, lots of big meals and naps. Gets along great with the boys and loves walks on the beach! Getting used to the weather in Washington state. Thanks again!!”
Keep the updates coming, send them to barbsdogrescue@gmail.com
We received an update on one of our pups who was adopted two years ago. We love updates, here is Scooby, living the good life. ❤
“Hello from Scooby Doo. He was one of your rescues. He's been with us in Phoenix for 2 years now. Thank you for all you do!”
Another beautiful update. This one about Mr. Bingley, FKA Bunner.
“We brought Bunner - now Mr. Bingley - home with us on October 1st. We are so happy that we met and adopted this little guy on our way home from Puerto Peñasco! He slept the entire drive home, and blended right in with our existing pack.
Mr. Bingley is a total snuggle bug with exceptional manners. He sits for treats, doesn’t chase the kitties, uses the doggie door, and rarely barks. He can almost always be found napping - on a lap, curled up with a furry friend, poolside basking in the sun, or right at our feet while we’re working.
Many thanks to you and your team for all of the compassionate work you do. We aren’t sure who placed Mr. Bingley in our daughter’s arms that day at your rescue, but we’re so happy that she did! ❤️
Every day Mr. Bingley becomes more confident and settled, and every day we love him more!
The Kissling Family

Two of our darling, curious puppies were transported to @puppyluvanimalrescue today. Thank you to our transporters and partners, you help us make miracles happen.
Updates are one of our biggest joys. Here is an update on Lucy, FKA Fanni.
“Just wanted to give you a little updated as requested on Fanni, now Lucy.
She gets lots of snuggles which she LOVES to give back. And she loves playing with her new doggy brother Barry. They get along so great! She has been a perfect addition.
Thank you again and again for what you do everyday!
Lauren.”

Remember sweet baby girl Casey?
Well she found her furever home today!!! We are so happy for her. Happy Life Casey, your best life starts today! 🐶❤️
As we've told you, the rescue is overfull. We absolutely can not take any more dogs or puppies in at this time. Today three female puppies about two or three months old were dumped on our doorstep. One of them has a bite injury on her neck that we have treated.
Please, spread the word that we are out of pens at our rescue. Too many dogs can easily become dangerous. Dogs are pack animals and if you have too many in a space, fights can occur, and dogs and staff can be seriously injured. We can't have that happen here.
You can help us by transporting dogs, adopting a dog (if you're looking), sharing our posts of adoptable dogs to encourage your friends and family to rescue, and getting the word out that we need help finding forever homes for our dogs and puppies. We are all about our dogs and only want what is best for them, and one of those things is their safety. Please help us help them.
