Our mission is to rescue animals from living their last days in overcrowded municipal shelters. We hope to educate people on what they can do to aid in overpopulation of animals on a local level.

Heart and Soul Animal Rescue of Long Island is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) rescue and adoption organization that was founded in 1999. Our mission is to rescue the loving cats and dogs that have been abandoned at kill shelters in New York.
