Welfare of animals and
Preservation of Animal Rights

Jeeva Raksha is a non-profit Animal Welfare Organization that works for the welfare of animals and preservation of animal rights in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Jeeva Raksha has Conducted several Animal Welfare Awareness Camps and administered Anti Rabies Vaccination to around 8000 pets and stray dogs in Rajahmundry. Under the dynamic leadership of P.B.K. Acharyulu, Jeeva Raksha Animal Welfare Society is protecting and creating an animal friendly society.

Jeeva Raksha has rescued 849 cattle from illegal and cruel transportation and slaughter house. Volunteers have participated in various police training colleges in 5 districts of Andhra Pradesh and trained more than 1200 police trainee constables on P.C.A., Specific Andhra Pradesh Animal Protection Acts.

Jeeva Raksha initiated Children Animal Care Clubs in various schools in East Godavari District. It also conducted training classes to Animal Welfare Volunteers and school academic faculties. Also conducted more than 40 Anti Rabies Camps for stray dogs and pets in East Godavari District. Upto 8000 pet and stray dogs in Rajahmundry have been administered with Anti Rabies Vaccination.

Jeeva Raksha has constructed Animal Hospital and Kennels to Serve Ownerless Animals. It also participated in workshops conducted by AWBI, Blue Cross of Hyderabad and WSPA.

A documentry film by name "The Best Friends' Foe" made to sensitize people in the interest of safe guarding the dumb animals. Also participated in flood relief works at Mahaboob Nagar Flood effected villages. Finally, Jeeva Raksha extended its support to the Legal Cases to protect dumb animals from slaughter.
