CHEW Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization operating in the Gig Harbor, Washington area. We rescue dogs that are abandoned and in danger of being euthanized due to shelter overcrowding.

CHEW is a non-profit dog rescue organization dedicated to promoting the health and welfare of canine companions throughout the Gig Harbor Peninsula. Additionally, we promote responsible dog ownership through the facilitation of educational and recreational activities and events.

CHEW Dog Rescue is a charitable 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization operating in the Gig Harbor, Washington area. We rescue dogs that are abandoned and, in particular, dogs that are in danger of being euthanized due to shelter overcrowding. CHEW was organized in 2006 to advocate for the establishment of a 30–40 acre fenced off-leash dog park in the Gig Harbor area. We also promote responsible dog ownership by facilitating and promoting speaker presentations that include canine health and behavioral topics. We are now a group dedicated to rescuing abandoned dogs, and other dogs in need of help.
