We are a team of compassionate, determined and dedicated people in Romania that rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs ( and sometimes cats…) that are either rescued by us or by others.

Why Romania?

Because a lot of innocent and peaceful dogs which have lived on the streets in Romania – in an effort by the Romanian government to reduce the stray dog population – are presently brutally captured and brought to public shelters where they either succumb to the inhumane conditions or die a violent death by the hands of their caretakers.

This despicable cruelty towards the Romanian stray dog fuels our drive to help these innocent animals. One might argue that one cannot change the situation by helping just a few dogs, but for these rescued dogs, their entire world changes.

We also try to help and support locals animal rescuers in their endeavours to help the stray dogs in their neighbourhood as we believe all animals should have the right to live, a respectful life in a secure environment with proper care and love – regardless of their origin.
