Cat Rescue Charity based in Manurewa, South Auckland.

Our mission is to care for and rehabilitate injured, sick and scared cats and kittens; to re-home these once stray and abandoned cats and kittens; and to educate and assist the public on the importance of de-sexing and responsible cat ownership.

9 Lives Orphanage was founded in 2014 and is a non-profit cat rescue run by a small team of three, Alisha Sinclair (founder), Emma Armstrong and Alisha Chelsea; as well as several awesome helpers and fosters.

What first started in our homes, has now expanded to an almost completed new cattery!

We are a non-profit registered charity, organised by passionate volunteers; trying to help eradicate homeless cats by de-sexing and re-homing as many Auckland cats and kittens as we can.
