Have a Heart seeks to lovingly reduce the number of homeless and discarded cats by focusing our time and resources on those that have been lost, abandoned to community colonies, and abused.

Have a Heart Cat Rescue is a small nonprofit cat rescue founded and operated by Tony and Marilyn with the help of their dedicated volunteers.
We support two community colonies, which are largely made up of lost and abandoned pet cats, and focus on saving them one life at a time.
For 2017, we have decided to re-dedicate ourselves to our founder's original vision for Have a Heart. To that end, we will be focusing our efforts on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and advocating for a low-cost spay&neuter clinic in Jacksonville NC.
It is our hope that this way we may be able to stem the exponential growth of our local cat population and humanely care for those that already exist.
