We are an animal rescue and sanctuary; we offer adoptions, lessons, petting zoos, birthday parties, etc.

Snowy River Animal Rescue is dedicated to providing a second chance for abused, neglected, outgrown, and unwanted animals. Our goal is to rehabilitate these animals and place them with loving families, or of not adoptable, to provide them with a sanctuary setting for life.

Each animal is special in its own way. We strive to match them with families that understand their special needs. Many go to families as 4-H projects, therapy animals, or into service assisting humans with many needs.

SRAR is a 501 © 3 non-profit, all volunteer organization. All donations are tax deductible and are greatly needed and appreciated. We are always in need of volunteers to brush, exercise, clean, and build. We offer riding time and lessons to volunteers. Please consider donations of hay, grain, wormer, new or used building supplies, and fencing. Straw is a large need in winter for insulation. We also pick up and haul away scrap metal.
