Run Like a Dog is a 5k run with all proceeds benefiting the Thurston County Humane Society.



Trail running athletes and dog lovers from around the Northwest will convene for this opportunity to compete with their dogs or just for their love of dogs.

Run Like a Dog is a 5k run with all proceeds benefiting the Thurston County Humane Society. Serious competitors, casual participants and spectators are both encouraged to attend.

This year is our 11th Annual Run Like A Dog Event, benefiting the Thurston County Humane Society. The event includes a 5K race / 5K fun run/walk with your dog. Many runners bring their dogs, many leave them at home, whichever you decide to do is up to you. Either way it's really a wonderful opportunity to be a part of your community. In 2016, thanks to your support and that of our sponsors, we raised over $13,000 for the Thurston County Humane Society.
