Trenton Cats Rescue provides humane solutions for the cats of Trenton NJ and their people. We do this through our low or no cost programs such as veterinary assistance, food and litter supplies, behavior counseling, spay/neuter for owned and free-roaming cats, adoptions, TNR, and more.

We get no government assistance and are entirely funded by your generous donations and grants. We are all volunteers and are very grateful for any and all help.

It's mid-August and we're beyond full. We have so many cats and so much need. In addition to the typical abandoned moms with newborns, we also have injured cats needing expensive surgeries, friendly cats we have to leave outside because we have no space, and adorable sweet kittens and cats who are being returned due to their various family situations. Please help in any way you can. A spare bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, large closet? Please complete our volunteer application to become a foster home and help us save more lives. Please share. Jay Bird (JB) is a sweet 3 month old #bobtail #kitten currently in an oxygen tent @caresvet (aka Blue Pearl Langhorne). We don't know how long JB has been struggling to breathe but we've been told he won't survive without a difficult surgery to fix his diaphragmatic hernia. After he recovers from the surgery (JB is expected to have a regular long happy life), he'll be available for adoption.
Unfortunately, the hospital estimate is just shy of $5,500. Can you help us give JB a chance to finally breathe normally?
