Our mission is to encourage spay & neuter, community awareness, education, and understanding of neglected and unwanted community cats through proven practices such as TNR and trapping young kittens in order to socialize them so they become beloved family members. We facilitate positive relationships between people and animals, whether they are pets or community animals. Educating our neighbors is essential for implementation of non-lethal ways of dealing with community cats.

100% of your tax-deductible donations goes towards trapping, spay/neuter, providing emergency vetting for strays, foster care and helping those in our community on a fixed income. (No salary or compensation taken by the volunteers.)

Until a few years ago, the accepted method of dealing with these cats had been extermination. Thankfully, this practice has been found to be ineffective. Much more effective and far less lethal, is the TNR program. This program allows the trapping and neutering of feral cats, after which they are released to their home area. This reduces population as well as diseases. We try to assist in this.

We regret that we don't have a facility where your pet cat can stay, as we are just a few volunteers that run RCCR. At this time, our focus is on stray and feral cats needing to be spayed and neutered.
