This page documents the life of the cats that come to The Row. These cats have come from all corners. Most are sick, have physical disabilities, feral, or just unwanted. A lot of times the odds are not in their favor when I get them. Most are saved, some pass on, but ALL kitties on The Row no matter what, have love, vet care, a full belly, treats, toys, shelter and soft beds.
For the ones that want nothing to do with inside life, there are numerous sheds, barn like structures, etc., for shelter. Most come inside and have cozy spots to sleep.
I also foster cats for our local humane society. Many cats that would otherwise would have their fate sealed, have a chance at life at The Row.
I also try to rehome cats to great spots if possible. I do all this by myself, with my own money and also with the generosity of followers of The Row.
I try to focus on the fun that is had, post lots of photos of cats/ kittens having fun and let people see how wonderful these cats are.
There are many that disagree with them going outside but I live on 75 acres in a rural area. I am usually with them and they enjoy being "cats." I know all the dangers, etc., but I also want them to have a quality life, one they truly enjoy. Some like to stay in, some like to go out.
I also take in kittens, not just cats. Kittens are quite difficult and die easily under the best circumstances. Most that i get are orphaned, sick or unwanted. It is hard to know what all they have been through or what they have already contracted before i get them. I do everything i can for them, including vet care. No cat or kitten on The Row will want for anything.
I work at a local vet clinic and am known as the crazy cat lady for sure. I work with great, knowledgeable, skilled vets and are wonderful with my cats.
