Ladies man Falcon has been waiting for months for someone to choose him. 😢 He’s had a short break from the shelter, but that’s almost over, and we’re still dealing with the space crisis, so there’s really nowhere for Falcon to go. We need your help.

Falcon is relatively calm and eager to be someone’s best friend. He’s not a Velcro dog, but he’s prone to checking in and letting you know he loves you. ❤️‍🩹 He appreciates snuggling in blankets and being at your side. Falcon seems fine with other dogs, though he’s not much for playing.

Scott is an absolute sweetheart, beloved by staff and volunteers alike. He’s listed as a Belgian Malnois mix, but he definitely seems to have some Chesapeake Bay Retriever in his DNA. Scott is around two years old, and so over living in the shelter. He’s been here for more than a month already, which is hard to believe for all those who’ve met him. Pope (A155100) has three big strikes. He’s an old, black dog, who’s heartworm positive. Nobody wants him. Nobody has even asked to meet him. How can we keep telling him that somethings I’ll change? That he’ll once again be loved and free to run and play.

Our shelter is totally full, so we need immediate help for dogs like Pope. He’s been waiting for nearly 60 days without interest. These photos show his last nice memory, when he was able to leave the shelter and participate in the Shelter Dog Olympics splash event at Rummy’s Beach Club. Pope really enjoyed wading in the water, but more than anything, he enjoyed being with people. In fact, he spent most of his time laying his head on staff or trying to cuddle with them.

Pope has gotten along well with some dogs, and potentially could go to a home with another dog (likely a mellow, smaller female).

Please help this guy. He’s been here nearly 60 days, and he’s had ZERO INTEREST. He loves people so much. Pope is a six-year-old Greyhound-Lab mix. He’s fairly small, weighing ~35 pounds.
