As the Friends of the Wood County Humane Society, we dedicate our time to the well being and safety of animals in the Bowling Green area by volunteering at the wood county humane society.

Our organization volunteers at Wood County Humane Society by helping out with shelter events, helping fundraise, walking dogs, socializing with the cats, and much more.

For those interested in being a member we typically go to the shelter on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 6-7pm to socialize with the cats in our event called Advocats. Carpooling available. We also help walk dogs when it's warm/cuddle with dogs when it's cold. Times and days are adjusted throughout the year.

If Advocats & Dog Walking are not an option, there are plenty of events and fundraising to get involved with! It is alright if you are unable to attend our meetings!
