Homeward Bound Humane Society of Anson County

Our mission is to alleviate the pain and suffering of the animals due to abuse, neglect, and abandonment of our animals. This affliction in our community affects us all on multiple levels. It is imperative to reduce the number of free roaming animals due to disease and aggression to the public. Education on spay/neuter and how necessary it is to spay/neuter our pets is a primary concern. If we want to elliminate the numbers or unwanted animals, spaying/neutering will provide our community with both physical and financial relief.

All staff are volunteers that donate time, money, and love whom are dedicated to helping the animals that are unable to help themselves. In order to do this, we go to Petsmart on Rae Road most weekends with the foster animals in our care. We also attend events that promote animal welfare education and fundraiser events to sustain the animals' needs.
