Northstar Horse Rescue is a nonprofit organization that serves to prevent cruelty to horses, to educate the public on equine issues, and to assist or facilitate equine rescue efforts.

Northstar Horse Rescue is a recognized public benefit nonprofit in the State of Maine. We will be tranferring our corporation to Colorado once we have a permanent home here. We work to help horses in need to a better future. We strive to educate the public about responsible breeding, humane placement options, and horse slaughter. We help other nonprofits with fundraising drives and placements as needed.
