🐾Fred and Ginger are a fantastic bonded pair of Akitas. They were brought into a shelter in horribly neglected condition and have had surgery to remove badly damaged and infected tissue from their ears. They were thin and were infested with parasites before being treated and now are healthy and happy!! Poor things are ready for their new life in a loving home! Fred is a big boy and can use some patience with training on leash and Ginger is a sweetheart and looks to Fred for leadership. Both want to please and would do wonderfully in a home that would want to help them start over. They are friendly, affectionate and we are so grateful we were able to save them from a horrible start in life! Meet Fred and Ginger today!!❤️

THANKSGIVING!!!❤️If you were wondering what our pups did for Thanksgiving...know our AMAZING full time ranch volunteers Kirstie and Nick LOVED and cared for our babies with BBQ, baths and special care. Even with the power out these two blessed our pups and took great care of them... it can be easy to forget the behind the scenes people that GIVE ALL of their time to the care of our dogs... WE ARE THANKFUL for all the behind the scenes people that work around the clock, to save our wonderful Akitas!!!

💙Poor Zander was turned in at the night drop at the Yucca Valley shelter. He weighs about 85lbs. He plays "Akita fetch", knows sit, lay down, takes treats gently and is good in the car! Sometimes he can be fearful of tall men but we are learning about him and working with him to adjust. He has not been trained to walk on leash yet, and can be at times jumpy and mouthy like a puppy. A handsome, loving young boy he just needs a home and owner that can give Zander the leadership he deserves! Come meet Zander today!!🐾

💜Young, sweet, beautiful Sakura is available for adoption. About a 1yr or so old this young girl found herself pregnant, in the shelter system and on the euthanasia list. The shelter was unaware of her pregnancy and as soon as we picked her up we knew- then 5 days later she had her pups!! Being so young she did not understand how to care for them and was taken into foster for help and guidance.. with that support she has been a wonderful mother and the puppies have thrived. Now this lovely young girl is ready for her own forever home where she can be the puppy with all the attention! She is friendly with all people and dog friendly. She does have prey drive for cats and any birds- especially chickens. When first at foster she didn't know sit and appeared to never have had toys or chew bones and any kind of training. Now she sits like a pro and has been an indoor dog with lots of structure and training. Due to her previous life she can feel like she needs to survive in new situations where she pulls on leash but is always friendly regardless. She can get some separation anxiety but does adjust well. She would do great with a friendly male dog as a companion and has done well with crate training. She currently plays with her foster dog friends (male and female) and loves to run and play. A young bouncy girl but also knows how to settle down for naps and be quiet through out the day while her foster mom works. She is a great girl that only needed a chance! Sakura would love to finally see all the things this world has to offer and is very responsive and willing to please!🌸
