We are committed providing safe and proper care to horses, but we are also committed to advocating safe and proper care of horses through public awareness campaigns such as clinics and seminars. We are dedicated to working with our future horse-owning generation, providing special opportunities for youth groups and underserved children. We ensure proper placement of horses into foster care and permanent homes by implementing rigid foster care and adoption guidelines.


All horses in the rescue program receive routine veterinary care as well as emergency care if needed. This care includes a Coggins test and other bloodwork, updated vaccinations, deworming (every 2 months), dental care, and regular farrier care. When healthy enough, all horses receive a microchip for identification. The rescue horses are also given supplements if needed, for example, nutritional (i.e., vitamins/minerals, probiotics) or medicinal (for conditions such as arthritis or Cushing's disease). Horses are also provided complementary therapies as needed, including, but not limited to, chiropractic, acupuncture, homeopathic, etc. Once rehabilitated, all horses undergo a training evaluation prior to being listed as available for adoption.
