Jewell Horse Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 and 509a2 approved non-profit organization in Noble, Oklahoma. Jewell Horse Rescue, Inc. believes every horse deserves a second chance. Jewell Horse Rescue, Inc. provides shelter services and assists in the rehabilitation of abused, neglected, abandoned, or otherwise unwanted equine. Our goal is to promote and encourage the public to stop equine abuse, over breeding and transportation of horses for slaughter. We will assist law enforcement officers in seized, fostering, and adopting of equines. We strive to educate the public on proper horse care. We offer help to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster. We are intercepting horses before going to kill buyers through slaughter bound auction. Our program's main goal is placing equines in new adoptive homes when possible. We provide sanctuary to unwanted horses that are not able to be re-homed. We provide the appropriate routine and emergency veterinary and farrier care to rescued equine. We raise money through fundraisers and donations to provide needed care and food for special diets. We hold events to educate individuals interested and seeking to adopt equine and to educate on the importance of not over breeding. We work with individuals wishing to foster rescued equine. Here at Jewell Horse Rescue, Inc, we believe that by working together with other organizations and individuals, we can improve the lives of equines throughout the United States.
