Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia

The Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia is a 100% donor funded no-kill adoption center.

Our mission is to be a model no-kill animal shelter in Georgia and our community. For animal lovers in our area, the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia (HSSCG) is the most compassionate and capable protector and preserver of our area's homeless animals.

Our animal shelter provides these animals with food and general medical care that includes spaying and neutering, and hope for a happy and healthy future through our Adopt-a-Pet program. The HSSCG is unique because we are the only no-kill animal shelter in our area that is 100% donor-funded.

We serve the surrounding community of Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Sea Island, and Savannah, Georgia. We even reach out to those in Jacksonville, Florida as well.

We are a local independent organization. As such, we are not affiliated with the National Humane Society or the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), nor do we receive funding from these organizations. Our adoption center is 100% donor-supported by the citizens of our local community.
