Welcome to the official page of Journey's End Animal Sanctuary, a home for abused, neglected, and special needs animals.

The mission of Journey's End is to provide lifetime care and shelter for dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs, and birds that have been abused, neglected, or have special needs. Rather than emphasizing adoption, Journey's End provides a homelike setting where animals can enjoy the remainder of their lives in a comfortable, loving atmosphere.

Journey's End is a unique sanctuary for unadoptable animals in Glenwood, just outside of DeLand, Florida. It is currently home to over 55 dogs, 200 cats, 4 horses, 3 sheep, 2 pigs, and many birds.

There are no cages and no euthanizing. Animals live out their lives in compatible groups in a secure, loving environment. There is an emphasis on providing them a high quality of life, with ample chances to play and interact with staff members, volunteers, and visitors.
