We are a Feline Rescue in South East/Central Iowa. We also offer educational resources to all the communities in our surrounding areas.

To rescue dogs, cats, small animals and aviary life from hoarding cases, blood sports cases, abuse/neglect cases and puppy mill rescue cases. We will temporarily house and provide medical care to them until they are healthy. We will then work to socialize and give basic behavioral evaluation / training to them, before finding them permanent homes.

H.E.A.R.T.S. will work with Law Enforcement in the rescue of animals in hoarding cases (dogs, cats, small animals & aviary), dog fighting case rescues, abuse/neglect, puppy mill and unwanted animal rescues. We will also work with shelters that are high kill / kill shelters to rescue animals on the kill list before they are put down. We will take owner surrenders as well, but as the shelter space will provide for. Our primary focus are rescues as mentioned above.
